Nicaragua: Make my own luck

We are now entering the final month of the school year here, which has us thinking about plans for the school break during December and January. One of the items on the to-do list is to hold another leadership camp. 

Approximately 8 months ago we held a local camp for more than 50 youth going into 7th grade. This week our video from the camp finally made its debut!

This year we plan to focus on the same topics of leadership, self-esteem, communication, and HIV education, but our approach will be different in some aspects. The plans are in the works, but we know that this year's fun will include coordination with more volunteers, activities geared towards older students, participation from three different municipalities, and a beautiful location. It promises to be a great project!
