U.S. Pickin' up on that feline beat
This is the story of a grand moving adventure as told by me, Luna the kitten.
It all started when my mama enticed me back into that plastic box, that same one she used to bring me home from the shelter. How was I supposed to know any better not to get inside?! She tricked me with her evil accomplice, the red light.
| That one. |
Since this world is facing a crisis also known as the Revenge of the Red Dots, I must catch that nemesis one of these days, For that reason I willingly followed it inside the plastic box where I was sure that victory would be mine. The bad news: what followed was not me defeating the red dot; instead I got six painstakingly long hours in the car.
Luckily I had the freedom to roam around a little bit while inside the moving vehicle. However, I am not really a fan of looking out windows when the picture on the other side is in constant motion. That's why I decided to spend most of the ride inside that darn plastic box. When my mama finally decided that we had reached our destination, I was carried up three flights of stairs to our new home. It's a lot smaller than the mansion I grew used to these past weeks.
That's okay though. I quickly claimed the spot where I plan to spend 83% of my sleeping hours.
And 65% of my waking hours.
This is a pretty good option as well, for both sleep time and play time. I'm an expert at getting myself tangled up in that blue string you see. And if you can believe it, play time just got even better. Last night mama brought me something she calls a "catnip stick." I don't need to do any more explaining.
One peculiarity of this new home is that there seems to be another kitty on the other side of the closet doors. I have no interest in playing with her. This is my house.
What does interest me is waiting for mama to open the closet door so that I can use my lightning-fast kitty speed to stealthily climb up to my favorite hiding spot. Bet you can't even see me.
Yesterday mama brought me exploring to the great outdoors, to a place which she also calls "the backyard." I loved it. Just imagine how many fish are in that lake. Mama says once I catch the red dot she will let me move up to catching fish. I am determined.
